Ingredients:
- two 4 oz sticks unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbs milk or cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup chopped dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling dough in)
Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add milk and vanilla - mix
- Add flour and salt - mix well
- Add cranberries and pecans
- Roll into two logs approx 8" x 1 1/2"
- Wrap and chill in freezer 30-60 minutes (or fridge for two hours)
- Slice to be approx 1/4" thick
- Roll edges in 1/4 sugar***
- Place on lightly greased cookie sheets
- Bake 10-15 minutes
