Cranberry Tea Cookies

Ingredients:

  • two 4 oz sticks unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbs milk or cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling dough in)

Steps:

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add milk and vanilla - mix
  3. Add flour and salt - mix well
  4. Add cranberries and pecans
  5. Roll into two logs approx 8" x 1 1/2"
  6. Wrap and chill in freezer 30-60 minutes (or fridge for two hours)
  7. Slice to be approx 1/4" thick
  8. Roll edges in 1/4 sugar***
  9. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets
  10. Bake 10-15 minutes
