Sausage Gravy (Biscuits & Gravy)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lb sausage (Jimmy Dean)
  • 3 cups milk (whole)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • salt and pepper to taste

Seasoning:

  • cayenne
  • garlic
  • onion
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • pepper

Steps:

  1. Brown sausage in pan, do not drain.
  2. Add 1/3 cup flour and stir to cook flour. If sausage wasn't preseasoned, season now.
  3. Once mixture is uniform, slowly add milk. Start with a few splashes, increasing in size as you stir.
  4. Add remaining milk, cook on medium heat until a few bubbles appear.
  5. Lower heat and simmer until gravy thickens (about 2 minutes).
