Ingredients:
- 1 Lb sausage (Jimmy Dean)
- 3 cups milk (whole)
- 1/3 cup flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Seasoning:
- cayenne
- garlic
- onion
- rosemary
- salt
- pepper
Steps:
- Brown sausage in pan, do not drain.
- Add 1/3 cup flour and stir to cook flour. If sausage wasn't preseasoned, season now.
- Once mixture is uniform, slowly add milk. Start with a few splashes, increasing in size as you stir.
- Add remaining milk, cook on medium heat until a few bubbles appear.
- Lower heat and simmer until gravy thickens (about 2 minutes).
